Why did you decide to become a massage therapist: After working in the field of Mental Health Services, I decided to branch out into more of the physical aspects of Health Services. I have always been an advocate of healing touch.
What do you enjoy the most about being a massage therapist: The personal interaction with people, both energies, physical and metaphysical.
What do you feel is the biggest misconception about massage: People tend to imagine massage as primarily a relaxing experience, which it can be, but often do not realize the overall healing properties that massage offers.
What is something that you wish a new client knew before coming in for their 1st massage:
Don’t be nervous or anxious. Massage Therapists are professionals, trained extensively and in many cases have years of experience. We are here for them.
